چکیده
This study examines the integration of regional dairy markets in Poland, which is a major European producing country. The analysis prices important, as many farmers are members processing cooperatives, and their incomes affected by two popular products: butter curd. Estimation results show that removal lowered curd regions. relationships both nearly perfect during January 2010–November 2017, but found unintegrated. Impulse response showed effect shocks was mostly absorbed two-week returned to full equilibrium about four five weeks. fast adjustment indicates operate properly no participant can obtain gains above those offered at equilibrium.

Testing Price Equations
How inflation and unemployment are related in both the short run and long run is perhaps the key question in macroeconomics. This paper tests various price equations using quarterly U.S. data from 1952 to the present. Issues treated are the following. 1) Estimating price and wage equations in which wages affect prices and vice versa versus estimating “reduced form” price equations with no wage ...
متن کاملInformation Provision and Price Competition
Two sellers with ex-ante identical products, whose qualities can be either high or low, first choose a binary information structure, modeled as the probability that the signal reveals the state. After the buyer independently draws one private signal from each information structure, the sellers then each choose a price in the second stage. We identify two equilibria in information structures, a ...
متن کاملPrice dispersion, information and learning
We consider an economy where trade is decentralized and agents have incomplete information with respect to the value of money. Agents’ learning evolves from private experiences and we explore how the formation of prices interacts with learning. We show that multiple equilibria arise, and equilibria with price dispersion entail more learning than equilibria with one price. Price dispersion incre...

We find that both retailers reacted to the new policy; Best Buy and Amazon a...
